Dr Lee Naylor

 

Having completed a PhD in the Department of Medicine at Melbourne University in 2000, Lee is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of individuals, accessing the most up to date,

evidenced based research and knowledge to ensure the most appropriate, best practise and outcomes.

Lee’s PhD investigated the pathophysiology of the schizophrenic brain, researching her work at the Mental Health Research Institute of Victoria with her findings being published in many International

journals and delivered at many conferences.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Lee Naylor has enjoyed an International athletics career that spanned a decade, competing in the Olympic Games (Sydney 2000 and Atlanta 1996), Commonwealth Games, World Championships and more, competing in the women’s 400m and 4 x 400m track relay events. Lee’s sporting highlights include a relay Gold medal at  Commonwealth Games level and a relay Bronze medal at the World Championships in Gotenburg, Sweden in 1995 alongside team mate Cathy Freeman.

The combination of strong physical health and sporting achievement, combined with an outstanding research background, Lee is perfectly positioned to steer Fit & Healthy Business as a leader in workplace health promotion strategies, with her strong focus on evidenced based programs.
